On Friday June 4th, 2010 – The artists headlining this year’s MuchMusic SodaPOP Tour stopped by The Warehouse Studio in Vancouver, BC to record a rendition of the 80’s hit single “Pop Goes The World.” Co-Produced & Recorded by Jeff Dawson and Jamie Appleby of Wax Records, the track features Hannah Montana’s Emily Osment, Jesse Labelle, Danny Fernandes, The New Cities and Alyssa Reid.

MuchMusic’s SodaPOP 2010 “Pop Goes The Word” campaign is in support of UNICEF. UNICEF will be onsite during each performance along the tour raising awareness and funds for the charity’s long-term reconstruction efforts in Haiti. With nearly half the population of Haiti under the age of 15, it is fitting that the festival’s young artists and audiences should have the opportunity to assist UNICEF in their efforts.

“Pop Goes The World” is available for purchase via iTunes for only $0.99 with all proceeds going to UNICEF.
